Mermaid M12 Cool Only Marine A/C Unit - 12,000 BTU's - 110V 

With a cooling capacity of 1000 cubic feet, the Mermaid M12 is designed to cool / heat up to a 32′ cruiser or a 34′ sailboat.

The ultimate in climate control. Don’t mistake that compact size for impaired function, however; the Mermaid M12 packs the perfect punch of cool, comfortable air to keep your cabin temperate. Thanks to the expertise of Mermaid's engineering and manufacturing team, even the electrical box on this unit only weighs 4.7 pounds. 

The Mermaid 12,000 BTU marine air conditioner also has rotatable blowers and tapers into a V shape to make odd angle discharge installations a breeze. 4″ ducting is used and Mermaid recommends a minimum of 2, 4″ round supply grills with this installation. This unit will run off of the new Honda EO1000i 1,000 watt portable generator while in cool mode. Another option Mermaid recommends is to use a Statpower pure sine wave 1,800 watt inverter and 450 amp hours of battery power and you can anchor out for the night.

All M12 models include a digital thermostat, an insulation mounting pad, and an air output collar. Pump not included.

MERMAID Standard Digital Programmable/Non Programmable Thermostat

The Mermaid Standard Programmable/Non-Programmable Thermostat / Control is designed to be used with any Mermaid unit. Programmable features allow for de-humidification. It is provided standard with each Mermaid Marine Air conditioning unit.

It is provided standard with each Mermaid Marine Air conditioning unit. The thermostat is also accompanied with 20 feet of four-wire thermostat cable and installation instructions.

The programmable features allow for weekday and weekend setting for those boater’s who care to use the unit for dehumidification or simply climate control while not on board. The unit may also simply be used as a on/off control device by utilizing the “Hold” temperature setting key.

Non-Programmable Thermostats are also now available.
